Sink n’ Sand, a fun “quicksand” game for kids (and grownups too)!

This has been a kid-favorite at Bloom ever since we got it a few months ago. It’s the best $20 we’ve spent in awhile, but lucky you can get it now on Amazon for around $10! It’s a fresh take on Kerplunk and The Honey Bee Tree games we love. Using kinetic sand, Sink n’ Sand adds a fun sensory component, a bit of unpredictability, and isn’t super messy. After rolling the die, kids challenge their executive functioning and motor planning skills when they must thoughtfully consider which stick to pull from the frame in order to be the last character standing. This definitely helps improve impulsivity and turn-taking skills! Check it out. We give it two thumbs up.
