Parenting your gifted or twice-exceptional child
Parents of gifted or twice-exceptional children are often on their own while navigating the complexities of raising their neurodivergent children and spend much of their time managing a deficit based educational system that focuses on remediation and weaknesses.
Join us in our six week strength-based parenting workshop and discussion group as we focus on building strength awareness and strength development. Throughout the six weeks, we will discuss:
Characteristics of giftedness, twice-exceptional and neurodiversity
Overexcitabilities and intensities
Communication and relationships
Strength based approaches to parenting
Strength awareness and strength development
And more!
Our workshops and discussion groups are designed to support and empower families to understand and celebrate their children’s strengths and unique qualities while also providing a space for parents to connect and create a community with parents who understand the distinct challenges and joys of raising neurodivergent children.
