Our expertise.

Executive Functioning
Disorganized or easily distracted? We help your child develop strategies to stay focused and organized.
From managing time and attention to planning ahead, remembering details, and multitasking, these essential executive functioning skills can take time to develop, and some kids need extra support. We work alongside your child to create practical tools and strategies to help them succeed at school, at home, and beyond.
-
Feeding and Mealtime
Picky eater or more complex feeding challenges? We can help, no matter the cause.
Transitioning a baby to solids or expanding a toddler’s limited palate can be confusing and stressful. Some children take a long time to finish meals, eat very little, or have medical issues that make eating painful. Feeding difficulties may be sensory-based, motor-based, medically based, or a combination, and they can be tough to manage alone. We provide guidance, support, and strategies to help your child and family navigate mealtimes with confidence.
-
Gifted and Twice-Exceptional (2e)
Gifted and twice-exceptional (2e) children have unique strengths and challenges that require understanding and a sensitive approach.
High intensity, perfectionism, and strong overexcitabilities are part of who they are, and tackling challenges successfully requires true partnership and support. When giftedness is paired with a learning disability, these children need even more thoughtful guidance to foster growth, progress, and meaningful change.
-
Gross Motor Skills and Coordination
Does it feel like your child is always a step behind? We help kids build coordination and strength while boosting their confidence.
Whether the soccer field feels overwhelming, monkey bars are intimidating, or riding a bike seems impossible, we create fun, supportive ways to develop skills and encourage independence. Your child may not become a professional athlete, but they will gain confidence, competence, and pride in what they can do.
-
Fine Motor Skills and Handwriting
Does your child dislike writing or get exhausted at the very thought of it? We can help. We use Handwriting Without Tears®, a multi-sensory, developmentally appropriate curriculum. Depending on your child’s needs, we focus on proper letter formation, sizing, spacing, and alignment to help them create legible, confident writing.
In addition to handwriting, we support daily fine motor skills like tying shoes, getting dressed, and zipping backpacks. While your child might secretly hope technology will replace writing, developing these skills is essential for everyday life, and it is what we do best.
-
Infant and Early Childhood Development
Worried about your child’s development? From birth through childhood, we can help put your mind at ease.
Children develop at their own pace, and while sometimes it is easy to wait and see, other times you may have questions and want guidance. We offer insight, practical strategies, and ideas to help create the best environment for your child’s growth, no matter where they are on their unique developmental path.
-
Sensory Processing and Sensory Integration
Sensory sensitivities and differences can be overwhelming for both children and parents. Learning to understand and adapt to your child’s sensory profile is key, while also helping your child gradually adapt to the world around them. Through guided, sensory-based activities tailored to your child’s unique needs, we support growth and confidence over time.
-
Social Emotional and Self Regulation
We integrate research-based strategies and tools into everything we do. The language and strategies from these approaches are infused into all of our sessions and programs according to each child’s needs, abilities, and level of understanding. As we discover the most successful strategies that resonate with each child, we share them with families, educators, and other professionals on their team.
-
Social Skills
We help children navigate the social world with confidence while building self-regulation and social skills.
Social skills don’t always come naturally, so we guide children in understanding their own thoughts and feelings, staying engaged in group activities, and using active listening and body awareness. They also learn to recognize social rules, interpret unexpected behaviors, think flexibly, solve problems, and use imagination in social situations.
We teach strategies to manage emotions and stay regulated, including calming techniques, cognitive strategies, and sensory supports. Children develop the ability to read facial expressions, understand how others perceive them, identify triggers, and apply tools to navigate social challenges successfully.
